Show My Face: Six Word Saturday wants folks to use just six words to describe his or her day.  Here's mine:

Swim team wins for hubby's birthday!

[The kidlets' swim team won today, and obviously, it's the dude's day to celebrate.  Except for the blast-furnace heat, it's a mighty good day.]

Eleven

Eleven years ago today, on the first day of spring, my son and daughter were born.  Yes, I'm the proud mama of twins!

The prompts from Sunday Scribblings (big) and The March Challenge (birth) were perfectly apropos for what I wanted to say:

To my Son and Daughter, on their Eleventh Birthday

How on earth, from the time of your birth,

to this day, eleven years later

did you get so grown and so full blown

while my love grows ever greater.
